DI2 zomproof horde crate

Zomproof Slayer Hoards are a type of container featured in Dead Island 2. They are usually small, enclosed rooms which require a Fuse to enter, and contain various loot in the form of containers, mod items and a Zomproof Slayer Hoard crate. In order to initially gain access to the horde, a Fuse must be purchased from a Merchant, and a maximum of 3 Fuses can be carried at any one time. By placing a Fuse into the fuse box, it will unlock the door, in whatever form it takes shape be it a locked metal door, garage roll door or some other form, and allow entrance to the horde.

Hordes are usually booby-trapped with something, be it a shotgun trap rigged up to Explosive Barrels or Propane Tanks, multiple shotgun traps aimed at the doorway or covering the ground in caustic acid or fuel, with an explosive nearby to set it all on fire, to name a few. Others will have Zombies in them which will come alive, requiring you to kill them to loot the area safely.

The Zomproof Slayer Horde crates usually have a high quality weapon in them, of at least rare rarity or higher, making them excellent ways to get high quality weapons to either use or sell.
