The central tower of the plant
The Wastewater Plant is a location featured in Dead Island within the city of Moresby. The plant is located in the Old Town area of Moresby and served as the sewage treatment plant for all of Moresby. It is the main destination for the main quest Way of Salvation where the hero must escort Joseph to the Wasterwater Plant so they can lower the Sewer water level.[1]

The Wastewater Plant is located just off the main road leading into the centre of the slums. It consists of a large compound area which is walled off with concrete walls topped with metal fencing. There's a central tower which likely held most of the above ground machinery of the plant. There's a variety of smaller metal sheds dotted around the compound interior, as well as trash bins and a bunch of foliage. A van has crashed into the entrance gate, allowing entrance, though there are a few holes elsewhere in the perimeter which also allow access.[2]

- There's a load of propane tanks around the compound area which can be picked up and exploded.
- There's little reason to go to the plant outside of the main quest Way of Salvation as there's no loot here.
