The flag of America
The United States of America is a minor faction in the Dead Island series. Little is mentioned about the continent, but it is known that Logan Carter and Sam B are two famous Americans. After the events of Escape Dead Island, It became the main setting of both Dead Island 2 and Dead Island: Retro Revenge in Los Angeles, California.

- The cut characters Werrol Folson and Abel were both from America, but cut from the final game.

- Los Angeles is Infected by HK1, a mutated form of Pathogen HK which affected the Islands in the Banoi Archipelago.
- The United States Armed Forces put Los Angeles into a full quarantine restricted zone, due to the zombie outbreak.
