For throwables in Dead Island 2, see Curveballs.

Throwables, also known as Projectiles, are weapons featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. As the name suggests, they are weapons that can be thrown and have a variety of effects. Throwables can be found in the environment, purchased from a merchant, or crafted at a Workbench if the player has obtained the relevant blueprint. Selecting a throwable will take up a weapon slot.
