The Staff is a blunt weapon featured in Dead Island Riptide. The staff is found scattered about the island as well as in Metal chests, and can also be found on killed Zombies, as well as being sold by Merchants.
Overview[]
The staff is a relatively easy weapon to get a hold of at the beginning of the game and is a pretty good thing to try and find early on. While its damage isn't particularly high compared to other blunt weapons and its force is also nothing special, the standout feature of the staff is its VERY low stamina usage. Combine this with its very high attack speed and you've got a weapon capable of cutting through both special infected and hordes of zombies alike. This is only improved when combined with the variety of mods the staff is capable of obtaining, even if those mods are only rank one mods, making it a survivor's best friend out there in the apocalypse.
