The Splitting Axe is a variant of the Axe featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be sold by various Merchants or found on killed Zombies or in Metal chests.

  • Eric Cotner and Kurt Keeble in Moresby can sell them.
  • Both Michael Stick and Sebastian Black in the Mingende Jungle can sell one.
  • Dwight Turner at the Overpass Camp can sell one after completing his side quest Visit to the Pub.
  • Wes Tweddle in the Bloodbath Arena lobby can sell one.
  • In Riptide, Rodrigo in Henderson can sell a Splitting Axe.
