The Scottish Dirk is a type of sharp weapon featured in Dead Island: Riptide. It can be given out as a Quest reward, sold by certain Merchants or found in Metal chests or on killed Zombies.

Notes

• Trevor Rogers will give out a Scottish Dirk for completing the main quest Pump Action.
• Certain merchants can sell Scottish Dirks:
  • Makayla at Halai Village can sell one if the Survivor Pack DLC has been installed or if playing the Definitive Edition.
  • Pierre can sell one after completing his side quest Fire Sale.
  • Zoey can sell one depending on how many of her Team Quests Best Merchandise for Zoey has been completed.
• Despite being a sharp weapon, it only accepts certain blunt weapon mods.
• Both Purna Jackson and Xian Mei will use Scottish Dirks for their melee weapons during Siege Events if the second levels of their Team Quests have been completed, Upping the Odds for Purna and Upping the Odds for Xian respectively.
