Rikky Rex is a survivor featured in Dead Island 2. He is a rock star who was trapped in Los Angeles during the outbreak and had a large party, getting drunk and passing out. As a result, he missed the evacuation.
Background[]
Rikky Rex (whether or not that is his real name or a stage name is never touched on) was at one point a guitarist and song writer for a very popular band called Gods and Whiskey (all six slayers speak of how they loved it when they were young). At some point, it either hit a low point and broke up, or was just no longer profitable. In the mission Resurrect the Rex, Rikky (given his state of mind this information is questionable) seems to remember it as hitting an artist block. He had a producer named Farouk. It's possible he has had a drinking problem for quite a while, as he makes a statement about 'getting back in touch with the gods and not just the whiskey'.
Appearance[]
Rikky is a middle aged to older man with shoulder length greying blonde hair and a full beard. He wears a gunmetal grey vest with several patches and text on it, a fully unbuttoned black button up shirt, a dark grey belt, a pair of purple swimsuit briefs, and black boots. He has several tattoos all over his body, and also wears a pair of gold oval-shaped sunglasses, a black beanie with a red tag, and a black string necklace with a blue guitar pick tied to it.
