The tape used for the research logs
Research Log 2 is the second collectible research log that can be found in Escape Dead Island and is one of the 12 collectible logs found on Narapela island. It is required for the achievement/trophy Horror Stories.

Behind the hangar at the airfield at the end of Mission 5 - A Fighting Chance. Upon first reaching the airfield, head right after going through the fence to go behind the hangar. There's some barrels and boxes and the log will be on one of them along with some pistol ammo.
