The tape used for the research logs
Research Log 11 is the eleventh collectible research log that can be found in Escape Dead Island and is one of the 12 collectible logs found on Narapela island. It is required for the achievement/trophy Horror Stories.

Inside the Crown Residence during Mission 10 - Faith. After entering the door into the building, you're at a corridor. There's an open room to the left, enter it and the log is on a shelf.
