The Reaper is a sharp melee weapon featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be purchased from various Merchants and found in metal chests or on killed zombies.
The Reaper has a short range and very fast attack speed, although it is important to note that being primarily a farm tool the Reaper has little durability and requires constant upkeep.

- Dwight Turner at the Overpass Camp can sell one after completing his side Quest Visit to the Pub.
- Both Michael Stick and Sebastian Black in the Mingende Jungle can sell Reapers.
- Joel Dirt at the Laboratory can sell one.
- Jeremy at the Prison Canteen can also sell one.
- Wes Tweddle at the Bloodbath Arena lobby can sell one, notably an orange 'legendary' rarity one.
- Apparently, a legendary reaper is located in a metal chest under the merchant by Quarantine after getting out of the map.
