The Ranged Impactor Mod is a weapon Mod featured in Dead Island 2. It adds a physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon. It also inflicts the Traumatized status effect to zombies after multiple hits. If the player hits a zombie that is traumatized, they will be sent flying and will damage and other zombie they fall into. There are three different rarities, each granting an increased damage boost respectively.

Uncommon[]

Gives a minor PHYSICAL DAMAGE and FORCE boost. Successive hits to a zombie also apply the TRAUMATIZED effect. Hitting a traumatized or vulnerable regular zombie sends it flying, damaging anything it hits.

The Uncommon Ranged Impactor Mod is located on the workbench in Emma's Mansion in Bel-Air after the Serengeti Siren main quest has been completed. It grants a minor physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.

The Rare Ranged Impactor Mod is sold by Dougie who can be found on the third floor of the Serling Hotel in Ocean Avenue. It grants a moderate physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.

The Superior Ranged Impactor Mod is located in Nadia's Thank You lockbox in The Metro. It located in the same room as the Screamer, Nadia, who is found by completing the Lost & Found quest Missing: Nadia. It grants a major physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.
