Queenscliffe is a location featured in Dead Island. It is a neighbourhood in the city of Moresby. It is on the other side of the canal next to St. Christopher's Church, accessible by main road leading from either the Church for Down Town/the Police Station. Queenscliffe is also a good area to access Canale Street from, which gives access to Quarantine.

The area plays a far larger role during Ryder White's Campaign. Queenscliffe is the area where the campaign starts, as Ryder's helicopter Super 64 crashes into Queenscliffe and you as Ryder White are forced to go deeper into Moresby. You are able to see more of the district, albeit at night, before coming out at the familiar open area overlooking the canal and Church.

Layout[]

The area is a collection of houses, like most of the districts of Moresby. The houses are all slums and badly in need of repairs and replacement. The roads are mostly cleared, with a few crashed cars and vans here and there. It backs onto the canal running through the city, as well as onto some of the inaccessible parts of the city that are blocked off. There are a few ladders and catwalks that you can use to bypass the road and get around from high up. In Ryder White's Campaign, you crash into an area which the heroes never visit, however Ryder quickly leaves the area and gets to the main road leading to the canal.

Notes[]

Trivia[]

  • The area where the helicopter crashes doesn't appear on the original Moresby map.
