The Prison Laundry Room is a location in the Prison in Dead Island. It's the room that all the prisoners wash their clothes in. The Heroes briefly come through here during the main quest Devil's Labyrinth when they're attempting to get to Cell Block B and find weapons for the prisoners in the Canteen.[1]

The laundry room is a pretty long, rectangular room that's intersected by rows of washing machines and ironing boards. There are many machines there arranged in rows, leaving just a relatively thin gap to walk through and creating blind corners and choke points. The machines are also quite high, making it a challenge to look over them from ground level. The ground is for the prisoners, who would use the room to wash their clothes and it was likely in use during the outbreak as various machines can be found open and washing strewn about the area. Ironing boards have clothes on them still to be ironed as well as large wheeled laundry baskets sitting about. The upper story of the room is for the guards to watch over the prisoners. It's a large hallway with iron bars overlooking the laundry room, giving an elevated view of the entire area so that guards can shoot down in case of a riot.[2]

- There are several Suiciders and Thugs in the laundry room, making it some what of a challenge to traverse, not to mention a decent quantity of Walkers.
- There are several Propane Tanks on the upper catwalks of the laundry room that can be used on the larger groups of zombies or on the tougher Thugs.
- There's little of loot here so there's no point lingering. The only loot that could be found is if the Thugs drop a weapon on their death.
