No Sign of Life is a medium difficulty side-quest given to the Hero by Sebastian in Dead Island.
Synopsis[]
The Hero must travel to a nearby bungalow and check on Sebastian's friend.
Walkthrough[]
- Talk to Sebastian to start the quest.
- If you have a Jeep, it will make this a lot easier. Hopefully you do, as it's a good mode of transport and you'll likely be completing all of Sebastian's quests in one go.
- Get in the Jeep (or walk) about 70ish meters away to the two bungalows in between a camp fire, away from the main scientist's bungalows area.
- There'll be a Floater and possibly a Butcher if you haven't already killed it, as well as some Infected which will run at you.
- The Floater will be hanging around the campfire with some Walkers. Head to them and kill them either by running them over or bludgeoning them to death as per the usual. Be careful if you're on foot, as Infected will run at you and the Floater will spit at you. A Jeep makes this a lot easier.
- After killing them all around the fire, head to the bungalow nearest the cliff edge. There'll be a couple more Walkers, so kill them and go through the open door.
- There's a Walker feeding on a corpse that will come alive when you get close. Kill them both and interact with the radio to turn it off. You need to do that to continue the quest.
- Afterwards, loot the area since you're there. Be careful of the bathroom as there might be a Walker lying in wait. Lead with a kick around the corner to disrupt it.
- Get back in the Jeep and drive back to Sebastian to finish the quest.
