- Certain merchants can sell Military Knives:
- Keenan Fisher at the River Village can sell one after completing the main quest Chasing Shadows.
- Dwight Turner at the Overpass Camp can also sell a Military Knife after completing his side quest Visit to the Pub.
- Michael Stick in the Mingende Jungle can sell one.
- Joel Dirt at the Laboratory can sell one.
- In Riptide, Sean at the Makeshift Hospital can sell one after completing his final side quest ER. He will also be able to sell it at orange 'legendary' rarity.
- In Riptide, Alex in Henderson can sell one after completing his rescue quest Rescue Alex.
