The Metal Baton is a variant of the Baton featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be sold by several Merchants or found on killed Zombies or in Metal chests.
Overview[]
The Metal Baton is a simple one handed blunt weapon with moderate damage and force with a low stamina cost. It has decent durability, if not the most of any blunt weapon, and a medium swing speed. Whilst the Metal Baton is nothing special, it's also not a bad weapon, with enough damage and force to easily take on singular or paired zombies such as Walkers or Infected. Whilst the Metal Baton can take on harder zombies such as Thugs or Wrestlers, its medium damage and force stats means it will take longer and be harder than with a stronger blunt weapon, where higher damage will make easier work of them.
