The Metal Baseball Bat is a blunt weapon featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It is a variation of the Baseball Bat that only appears after reaching level 24.
Overview[]
The Metal Baseball Bat is a worthy upgrade to the regular Baseball Bat that disappears after reaching level 24. The weapon deals medium damage with a decent chance of breaking bones. This is due to having high force and high durability, with a medium stamina usage, which allows it to be quite proficient at breaking bones. Whilst not the fastest in terms of swing speed, it has quite a wide arc and decent range, allowing you to out-range enemies such as Walkers or Infected. The weapon can also accept a wide range of Mods, making it very useful and worthwhile to have on you. Due to its stats, it may be considered one of the best more common weapons in the game.
