The Melee Impactor Mod is a weapon Mod featured in Dead Island 2. It adds a physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon. It also inflicts the Traumatized status effect to zombies after multiple hits. If the player hits a zombie that is traumatized, they will be sent flying and will damage and other zombie they fall into. There are three different rarities, each granting an increased damage boost respectively.

The Uncommon Melee Impactor Mod is located on the second floor workbench in the Halperin Hotel. It grants a minor physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.

The Rare Melee Impactor Mod is located on workbench in the Lifeguard HQ in The Pier. It grants a moderate physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.

The Superior Melee Impactor Mod is located in the lockbox on the second floor of the under construction mansion in Beverly Hills. The key to the lockbox is dropped by a named zombie called The Site Foreman. This zombie can be found outside the mansion after the main quest The Search for Truth has been completed. It grants a major physical damage and force boost to the applied weapon as well as the Traumatized status effect.
