Mayor Mr. Henderson is a boss infected in Dead Island: Riptide in Henderson. He was the mayor of Henderson and became a wealthy politician and brilliant scientist (similar to Dr. Kessler) in 1941, during the start of World War II, while the Japanese were creating the tunnels during that time. Before the outbreak on the island Mayor Henderson voted and promised for making the island a better place to have vacations and homes including the Kiwi Camping park, the Paradise Survival Camp, and other types of village or towns such as the Marik's Marina village, the Halai Village and last but not least the Mataka Village (but it has been flooded by the monsoon) And also new landmarks to see such as views and structures in Palanai Island. When the outbreak started on the island, he ran to the Military base for safety and, unfortunately, became infected by the mutated kuru disease and transformed into a Grenadier and killed everyone in the base, including Commander Briggs (Samuel Hardy's friend). When the Heroes find him, he must be killed to use the transmitter.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Henderson was actually in the Military Base with the rest of the soldiers and was a survivor of the base. Samuel Hardy did not actually know that.
- When the hero arrives at the room, he is found as a grenadier next to the transmitter next to an Infected.
- He is oddly named "Meat Thrower," which doesn't make any sense.
- Plus, Meat Thrower died in Dr. Kessler's Biosphere, so it's unknown how Meat Thrower appeared as the Mayor in the Military base.
- The military base used to be a Safe House, but it became a Dead Zone because of him.
- Strangely, he wears a yellow hazmat suit just like a regular grenadier.
