Matt Horton is a survivor featured in Dead Island.
Background[]
As the objective of side quest Survivor, he is found inside a shop near the Warehouse, calling for help. He has locked himself inside, while a number of zombies assault the front of the building. Once the undead have been cleared from the area, he unlocks the door, allowing the Hero to enter. He reveals that he is an employee at the store, and that his boss became infected and tried to bite him, forcing him to strike him multiple times on the head with a wrench. However, his undead boss then rises from behind the counter and must be killed. Once his boss is dead, he offers a reward to the Hero and exclaims that he is getting out of Moresby. He will disappear once the Hero leaves.

Matt is a middle aged man with short brown hair and a clean shaven face. He wears a red and white checkered shirt, a black undershirt, blue jeans held by a brown belt, and black and white shoes.
