Linwood Weaver is a survivor featured in Dead Island. In the side quest Crash, the Hero finds his wife, Laurie, panicking in front of the Jungle Tunnel. When the Hero approaches, Laurie explains that she and Linwood were attempting to flee to the Lifeguard Tower when they crashed.[2] Laurie was able to get free, but Linwood has become trapped inside the upside-down car.[3] The Hero must wrench the door open and protect them from the attacking Infected.[4] Once Linwood is freed, he thanks the Hero and Laurie offers the contents of their car trunk, a Crowbar and a Medkit.[5] He and Laurie remain at the crash site for a short while, then they likely flee the area and go to a safe place after the Hero leaves.
Appearance[]
Linwood is a late middle aged man with balding brown hair and a clean shaven face. Unlike most male survivors in the Resort, Linwood is fully dressed with a patterned white shirt, a light grey undershirt, blue shorts, white socks, and black and white shoes. He also wears a gold watch on his left wrist.[6]
Trivia[]
- Oddly, Laurie refers to him as "John" twice in dialogue,[7][8] it could be a nickname or likely an error when recording the voice acting.
Glitches[]
- He can sometimes be found outside his vehicle still requesting help.
- Also when you pick up the Crowbar and health it will still be in trunk but you are not able to pick it back up if you come back to it.
