The Light Brass Knuckles are a variant of the Brass Knuckles, and a blunt hand-to-hand melee weapon featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide.
Overview[]
Light Brass Knuckles are, as you would expect, lighter weighing versions of Brass Knuckles that feature medium damage but low force. Luckily, they have a fast swing speed and low stamina cost, meaning that with all these combined, it's quite capable of racking up damage quickly when multiple attacks are done against the same target. They are good for dealing with singular or paired zombies such as Walkers or Infected where the fast swing speed can cause breaks easily on limbs. However, they are a poor choice against larger groups of zombies or against special infected like Thugs or Butchers due to their very short melee range which puts you well within the swing arc of these powerful, dangerous zombies. In addition, they are unable to accept any weapon mods, which further hampers their usage.
