Kieron Gyles is a survivor who appears in Ryder White's Campaign DLC in Dead Island. He is found atop the roof of a building just outside quarantine, curled up into a ball rocking back and forth during the main quest Stolen Thunder. He tells Ryder White that his wife became sick and he tried to get her to a hospital, but she attacked him. He pleaded that she stop, but it was too late and she was a zombie, so he fought back and hit her until she dropped dead. He remains on the rooftop mourning over the death of his wife, unaware of the fact that she was a zombie.
He isn't seen when the Heroes arrive long after Ryder White leaves for the prison, leaving his status as unknown. It's never mentioned if he found a safe place, found and killed by raskols or was killed by zombies.
Appearance[]
Kieron is a middle aged man with short black hair and a small beard and moustache. He wears a blue button up shirt, white slacks held by a black belt, and black and white sneakers. In the Definitive Edition, his hair is longer and poofy, his face is clean shaven, his shirt is now dark blue, and his slacks are now grey.
Trivia[]
- There is the bloody corpse of a woman on the same roof as Kieron, who was almost certainly his wife.
