Key to the Shutters is a quest item featured in Dead Island: Riptide. It is the key to the electric metal shutters of the Old Town Cinema in Henderson. The Heroes acquire this key during the main quest Front Row, where to make the cinema safe for survivors they need to roll down the electric shutters to keep the zombies out. However, the shutter buttons have a metal cover over them which needs to be unlocked, so the Heroes go in search of the key which is in the front booth of the theatre. Using the key, the unlock the buttons and roll down the shutters, making the cinema safe.
