Jessica Nelson is a survivor featured in Dead Island.
Background[]
She is encountered in the Silver Bungalows district, inside Bungalow 6 barricaded by a car. When the Hero speaks to her, she frantically explains her husband, Roger, is bleeding and begs for help,[3] starting the side quest Bloody Valentine. Roger was bitten while trying to help someone,[4] and the two presumably fled to Bungalow 6 to hide. He wants the hero to take Jessica to the Lighthouse, where James will look after her,[5] as he doesn't want to hurt her in his ill state.[6] Jessica will then get in the car with you, to be taken to the Lighthouse. Upon reaching it, she expresses surprise that people are living here,[7] but asks you to check on Roger.[8] After this, she will stay out the front of the Lighthouse, roaming the area out front until leaving the area, upon which she will move inside to sit at the desk next to Maggie Spacy.
Appearance[]
Jessica is a young woman with relatively short black hair. Like most female survivors in the Resort, she is wearing a bikini with no shoes or other clothing. Her bikini is a plain grey or silver. She also wears a bead string necklace and a fitness tracker on her upper left arm.[9]
Trivia[]
- Jessica asks the heroes to check on her husband. After finding Roger infected and killing him, the heroes never tell her that her husband is dead and she never asks about him again.
