Jeannine is a survivor featured in Dead Island. She is found in the Beach House at the Resort as a part of John Sinamoi's group.
Background[]
Prior to the outbreak, she was staying in Bungalow 6 in the Silver Bungalows district along with her husband.[3] However, when the outbreak began, her husband was killed[3] and she somehow found Sinamoi's group. When the heroes awaken, she begs them to go out and help Sinamoi, who has left the beach house and is being attacked by zombies.[4] After he is saved, she remains in the main room of the beach house.
After moving to the Lifeguard Tower, Jeannine locates to one of the ground floor offices, sitting on the floor on an inflatable beach sheet. She gives the heroes the side quest My Precious, in which the heroes must travel to the Silver Bungalows district and retrieve the necklace her now deceased husband gave her.[5] After retrieving this, she remains sitting on the floor of the Lifeguard Tower.
Appearance[]
Jeannine is a young woman with short black hair. Like most female survivors in the Resort, she's wearing a bikini with no shoes or other clothing. The bikini has a tiger pattern. She also wears several bead string necklaces and a fitness counter on her upper left arm.[6]
Trivia[]
- The title of the quest she gives the Hero is a reference to the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings. It is famously called "My precious" by Gollum.
- Out of all the survivors, Jeannine seems to be the only one to take charge when Sinamoi is in trouble. She calls out Wayne for being a coward, and orders the heroes to go out and save John.[4]
