Jacqueline Phantom is a survivor featured in Dead Island: Riptide. She is first met by the heroes during the main quest Front Row, after they find a way into the Old Town Cinema in Henderson. They find her in the projection room where she explains that the cinema has metal shutters that can lock it down. After doing so, Jacqueline lets the group stay in the cinema, which she has ran and owned for many years, serving the citizens using her old film projector and reels of film. She also tells them about the Makeshift Hospital, and that the heroes should look for a man named Cecil there.
Later the heroes need to persuade her to allow them to burn her film reels on the roof to attract the attention of a helicopter to rescue them, during the main quest Rescue. While reluctant to do so, as some of which are old and priceless, she eventually lets them move the reels to the roof to burn. When the helicopter arrives, Jacqueline is on the roof with the group when Serpo betrays them, kills Colonel Hardy and has his helicopter shot down by Logan in the follow up main quest Evacuation. She hides with the other non-immune and non-combat members of the group when the horde arrives and is fought off.
Instead of going with the group, Jacqueline is unable to abandon the cinema she has owned for so many years, electing to stay with it and does so for the rest of the game, though she does give out the continuous quest Best to Forget to bring photographs of citizens of Henderson to her, so she can pin them on her memorial wall in the cinema.
During the final cutscene of the game, a Ram is shown finally breaking into the cinema as Jacqueline watches, presumably accepting her fate.
Appearance[]
Jacqueline is an older woman with short black hair. She wears a brown leather jacket, a patterned green shirt, a red scarf, red trousers held by a brown belt, and brown sandals. She also wears three braided bracelets on her left wrist and a brown Stetson with a blue band around the middle. In the Definitive Edition, her hat band is beige, her scarf is light blue along with her belt, her trousers are dark blue. Her hair is also brown rather than black.

- Jacqueline is with the heroes on the roof when the roof access to the interior of the cinema is blocked by a metal tank. During the ending cinema, Jacqueline is seen back inside the cinema, something not possible unless she climbed down the outside of the cinema and navigated the streets of zombies.
