Infected Doctor is a unique Infected featured in Dead Island: Riptide. Before he was infected, his name was Stan and he lived at his home in Henderson. Before the outbreak he was a doctor, and was infected likely helping patients. He turned in his house and has remained there stuck ever since.
Overview[]
Like several other named Infected over the series, the Infected Doctor is just a named Infected. He's in most ways identical to other Infected other than perhaps a unique character model. He's only encountered if you enter his home to the south of Henderson nearby to the Fort of Henderson.
Appearance[]
The Infected Doctor is an older man with balding brown hair and a full beard. He wears an orange t-shirt, blue jeans held by a brown belt, and white sneakers. In the Definitive Edition, he has a brand new unique model: his hair is grey, his beard is now a slight goatee, and he wears a white vest with no shirt, tan slacks held by a black belt, and white sneakers, as well as white bandages on both wrists, a tan messenger bag on his right hip, and two gold chain necklaces.
Tips[]
- Since he's really just a normal Infected that has a name, he can be taken out easily by stuff like Molotov Cocktails or Pistols.
- A fast swinging melee weapon, like a staff, will kill him very quickly.
- Since he's just an Infected, a blow to the head will usually kill him in one shot.
- All normal Infected strategies will work on him.
Notes[]
- Just like Greg (Infected) after activating the quest and completing it if you go back to his house he will respawn when you come back.
