The Heavy Mod is a weapon modification featured in Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. It can be crafted at a workbench for an applicable blunt weapon. The Mod adds more force to a weapon. Force gives you a greater chance of knocking a zombie to the ground. In fact, you can even knock a Thug zombie to the ground with a weapon that has a high enough Force.

Weight is the foundations I've been always saying this. Especially in the case of the blunt weapons. By means of a simple trick (that I described below) you will make your darling crush the skulls of those damn maniacs like putrid watermelons.
In Dead Island, the mod is given by Jennifer Snider for completing her side quest Two Hearts. In Dead Island: Riptide, the mod is located at the Pinai Ferry Station inside the warehouse that Jayden is locked inside.
