— Haris
Haris is a survivor featured in Dead Island. He is found during Act I, likely while completing the main quest Exodus.[3] While travelling along the beach while making their way to the Lifeguard Tower, the Hero finds him trapped in his truck on the beach, surrounded by zombies.[3] The Hero must clear the area of zombies before Haris will exit his vehicle. Once out, he informs the Hero that he is attempting to get as much supplies as he can at the Water Sports Rental Kiosk.[4]
After Haris and the Hero search the kiosk, Haris explains that he must rest for a while, and that he plans on leaving and to go to meet his wife.[5] If the Hero returns to the kiosk later on, Haris will have already left to meet his wife at the safe place he had left her at.[6]
Appearance[]
Haris is a middle aged man with brown hair and a full beard. Unlike most male survivors in the Resort, Haris is fully dressed with flower pattern button up shirt, a blue undershirt, white shorts, white socks, and white and blue shoes. He also wears a white head wrap and a binoculars case around his neck, showing that he was a tourist on the island.[7]

- A side quest doesn't appear for you to rescue Haris, but you'll receive 500 XP anyway, the same as if you completed a side quest. Nothing comes up in the quest log and if you scroll through the completed side quests, nothing will show up for Haris.[8]
