The Halperin Hotel Pool is a location featured in Dead Island 2. It is an open pool at the rear of the Halperin Hotel that guests could use to go swimming or sit at an relax. When the outbreak happened, the US Army took over the Halperin Hotel as an evacuation centre, getting uninfected people out of Los Angeles whilst killing anyone infected. To achieve the latter goal, they drained the pool and filled it up with corrosive caustic acid to melt the bodies in. Aidyn O'Connor was dumped in the pool after he was infected, on the orders of Major J. S. Booker.

Notes

• The collectible Journal Chump Dump Check can be found on the wall of the bar building in the left hand corner of the pool area.
• The side room attached to the bar area is blocked off until further progress is made in the main quest Room Service for Major Booker, when Zombies break out of the room.
  • Inside the room is a workbench.
