“The iconic Halperin Hotel was the evacuation center for much of Beverly Hills and Bel-Air.”
— In-game Description
The Halperin Hotel is a location featured in Dead Island 2 within Beverly Hills. During the outbreak, the Hotel was used as an evacuation point, screening survivors for infection before evacuating them from Los Angeles. Infected survivors were chloroformed before being dumped in the Halperin Hotel Pool, which was filled with corrosive Caustic-X chemicals to dissolve the bodies. The wedding of Becki Russo and Aidyn O'Connor also was supposed to take place here when the US Army took it over as an evacuation centre. The Slayers head here in hopes of informing to the authorities about their immunity. When the slayers appear on sight, clearly that the zombie infection has already claimed this military outpost.
