The Golden Bungalows are a district of the Resort featured in Dead Island, located to the north east of the Royal Palms Resort, close to the Lifeguard Tower. The bungalows are roughly the same size as the majority of the other bungalows, but are situated higher up on the hillside, closer to the hotel, with each bungalow having its own pool, or sharing a pool with only one other bungalow.
Layout[]
Like the other bungalow districts, the Golden Bungalows are a small town formed of wooden, thatched roof bungalows that Resort guests could stay in during their time on Banoi Island. They're located mid way between the Hotel and the sea front, and they have their own dedicated stretch of beach for them, Golden Beach. The bungalows are all built the same, featuring three main rooms (a bedroom, living room and bathroom) as well as having a double door entrance and two side doors. Most of the walking path is either paved or wooden floored, with stairs to allow access up hills and like. Many pools are found here, either serving just one bungalow or several, depending on the space available.
Notes[]
- Various side quests can be undergone in the Golden Bungalows district:

- Kim can also be found in this bungalow and gives the continuous quest Nectar of Life.
- Marcus Davis is found at the bungalow with the transformer for the Lighthouse during the side quest A Ray of Hope.
- Luke Craig is found in Bungalow 20 for the side quest Too Much Sugar.
