Gianna is a survivor in Dead Island: Riptide. She is found by the heroes in Henderson, just south of Villa Henderson on the western side of the map. She rewards the Heroes after the quest "Rescue Gianna," in which the heroes must kill all the zombies that have surrounded her.
Background[]
Megan is a resident of Henderson and knows the town well. She was outside near the Sea Market at the time of the viral zombie outbreak and was caught up in the chaos. She managed to survive the mess and left the market unharmed. When she reached the west side to hide from the zombies but she walked into a horde of zombies. Unaware of the situation and confused, she ran and found a high platform. There, she saw a ladder leading to the platform and climbed it, knowing the zombies wouldn't be able to reach her. While safe, Gianna realized that she was trapped as the zombies surrounded her. She began shouting for help, hoping that someone still alive would hear her pleas.
She waited for help, thinking that the military soldiers would help her, but it didn't happen. She saw half of the town flooded by the monsoon, and the number of zombies increased. She stayed up on the platform to be safe and did not want to turn like them.
Gianna eventually spots the Heroes passing and calls out to them. As soon as the Hero spots Gianna, they start the Civilian Rescue quest, Rescue Gianna. Once the zombies are dead, she asks them that the zombies don't frighten them and gives the heroes cash as a reward. She thanks them for helping her and rests on the platform for a while, and then heads to a safe place.
Appearance[]
Gianna is a young woman with short, messy black hair. She wears an ocean blue tank top, a white bra, dark blue rolled up shorts held by a white belt, and black flip-flops. She also has a bandage wrapped around her right lower arm and three braided bracelets on her left wrist.
