The front and entrance to the bungalow

James Nisira's Bungalow is a Dead Zone located in the Flooded jungle and featured in Dead Island: Riptide. It's one of the many dead zones scattered around the game and is a part of the Oil Storage area.

Layout[]

The dead zone is pretty easy to get to and find as it's a part of one larger area, the oil storage that Pierre first sends you to so you can find petrol for him as a part of his side quest Fire Sale. It's effectively two small rooms that are fenced off and connected by a ground walkway. The first room is relatively cluttered, with a central divider which obscures your view. Going through the double doors there's a short walkway with fence either side before the second room which is completely open, with plenty of space and plenty of zombies inside! At the back of the room are two doorways, one left and one right. Each leads to one half of the outside where the remaining Walkers are found.

Strategy[]

Thanks to the doors being closed for each hut and only one way in and out of each, you are able to deal with this dead zone at your leisure. Combine this with no special infected being present (Butchers, for example) or even regular Infected, and you've got quite a pleasant experience! Kill the two Walkers in the first room, then open the double doors. If you have the flare gun from Trevor and plenty of ammo for it, you can pick off some of the Walkers outside from the windows, saving you some bother later on. Go through the double doors and kill off the Walker, then get ready for the big one. Through the next set of double doors (locked your first time through so you'll need to break them down) is a load of Walkers and James himself. Subsequent visits he won't be there, just the Walkers and the door won't be locked, but first time around he will be. Throw a sonic pulse grenade in if you have one then close the door. This will kill all the Walkers, leaving you with just James. Kill him, then proceed out of either the left or right door, it doesn't matter. Kill the zombies that side, repeat for the other one, then loot the place before you exit.
