Fast Aid is a medium difficulty side quest given to the Hero by Lucas in Dead Island.
Synopsis[]
The Hero must travel to a nearby pharmacy and retrieve Lucas's medicine.
Walkthrough[]
- Talk to Lucas to start the quest.
- He wants you to retrieve some medicine from a pharmacy for him. He never tells you what medicine it is, and he hands you the name of it on a piece of paper, which is rather sketchy but no matter.
- You can either walk to the pharmacy or fast travel nearby to it. If you're walking, you're in for a long walk as it's all the way on the other side of Moresby. Good luck if you don't want to fast travel and keep a good weapon on you.
- If you don't want to walk, you can fast travel to the Warehouse, which is next to the pharmacy, and just walk up the road to the pharmacy on the hill.
- Once you reach the pharmacy on the hill, kill all the zombies around. There's usually a bunch of Walkers and a Suicider up the road. An Infected is usually drawn in as well and a Thug can also be lurking here, but it's not every time. Kill them all then proceed to the pharmacy door.
- The door is locked but breakable, so shoulder it down and kill the Walker lying on the floor behind the counter.
- Lucas' medicine is on a shelf next to you, so pick up the medicine and proceed back to the warehouse. Fast travel from it to Nick's Hub.
- Return to Lucas and talk to him to get your reward.
Notes[]
- You can easily get to the pharmacy by fast travelling to the warehouse and walking from there.
- It's a good idea to complete this at the same time as completing the side quest One Last Breath and One Foot in the Grave, as they take place at the same pharmacy.
- The cash register will often give out a decent amount of cash, so loot it when you come by.
- The fridge in the corner will also contain alcohol or energy drinks if you need them.
Trivia[]
- The mission's name is a play on "First Aid".
- There is a glitch where upon completing the mission the Hero will not be given the Big Baseball Bat listed in the rewards. However you will still be given the 1500 XP.
