Exotic Brass Knuckles are a variety of Brass Knuckles and featured in Dead Island. They are one of the rarest weapons in the game, excluding named legendary weapons, as they are not found in the inventories of any merchants, nor do they have a set spawn point. They are also not given out as a quest reward.
Overview[]
Exotic Brass Knuckles are a very short range weapon, like all other hand-to-hand weapons. They look very deadly, as they are just regular brass knuckles with two large blades stuck onto them. As with the other brass knuckle variations, they have a fast swing speed, decent damage, low force but decent durability. They can rapidly rack up damage and critical hits, including broken bones, however the single big downside is their very short range. You need to be in the face of the enemy to really let their power show, which means that often a zombie can get in the first hit. Don't bother using them if there's a large group, as you can easily be swarmed and outranged by their arms before you can get your knuckles into action. The same can be said for larger enemies such as Thugs which can actually outrange you with their arms before you can get close enough to hit them with the brass knuckles.
