DI generator room 2

The Emergency Generators Room is a location in the prison featured in Dead Island: Ryder White's Campaign. It is a small room in the prison that holds an emergency generator, presumably to power emergency lighting or other essential systems until the main power can be restored. Ryder White comes here on the request of Kevin "Charon" Barrister at the end of the main quest The Knight in Shining Armor so that Charon can tell him how to save his wife, Emily White, from her infection[1]. Charon tells Ryder to descend to the Prison Basement to restore the main power to the prison.[1] Ryder leaves the room and by the time he has finished restoring power, Charon has already left as well to move to the Control Room, leaving the room abandoned.[2]

Layout[]

The room is a small rectangular room made of concrete with a solid metal security door entrance. A yellow hazard sign is above the doorway warning of the emergency generators, as well as large lettering to the left also telling what the room is for. Inside the room, the walls have ceramic tilling with the lower half in grey and the upper half in white. The flooring and ceiling are both plain concrete. A half length dividing wall separates the control panel at the rear of the room for the generators. Towards the doorway is a small single bed with a white mattress, a few metal cabinets and a control panel, as well as several electrical panels. Stretched along the right hand wall is the orange emergency generators. Various large air ducts and piping cover the ceiling. The rear of the room is fenced off to secure the control panel for the generators as well as a metal table and fuse box.[3]

Notes[]

  • There's little in the way of loot in the room, only some miscellaneous Food items.
