"A lot of people around here need help. Talk to them. Maybe you can lend them a hand." This article is a stub. You can help the Dead Island Wiki by expanding it.
EAT Couriers are zombies featured in Dead Island 2. They are very uncommon variants of the Runner that are most often encountered in The Metro and Brentwood Sewer but can also be found in various areas across Los Angeles. Possibly the best way to encounter EAT Couriers is by sounding an alarm. The car alarms uphill from Nikki Gutte's house in Beverly Hills is a good place for this farming method.
EAT Couriers are Runners who were formerly couriers for the food delivery service EAT. They are similar to normal runners, capable of running at high speeds, dodging, pushing players back, and interrupting heavy attacks. When killed, their bags will drop various healing items such as protein bars and energy drinks. EAT Coursers are highly vulnerable to sharp damage and their legs can be maimed to slow them down considerably and turn them into Crawlers
Appearance[]
EAT Couriers can be easily identified by their bright cyan and silver EAT-branded hoodies and similarly-colored EAT delivery bags.
Although the first scripted encounter with EAT Couriers occurs in the Brentwood Sewer, it is still possible to encounter them before that.

An EAT Courier appears in the 2022 Gamescom reveal trailer of Dead Island 2, stumbling into the house that Jacob is staying in and approaching him as he sits on a sofa trying to turn on the TV. He proceeds to blow up the courier using a High Explosive Incendiary round loaded into a Mosin Nagant rifle. Interestingly, the courier in the trailer is depicted as a Walker, whereas all in-game EAT Couriers are Runners.
