Duct Tape
Duct Tape is a miscellaneous item used for customizing weapons. It can be found in Dead Island. Duct Tape is one of the most used mod items alongside Wire and Metal Scrap, so you'll constantly be running out. It's a good idea to stock up when you can by either bulk buying when it appears for sale, or by collecting it from designated spawn areas. It appears as a barely used roll of grey, tough and very sticky Duct Tape, perfect for holding together any dangerously modded weapon!

- Above and to the left of the workshop in the back of the Water Sports Rental kiosk along the beach (near where the Hero rescues Haris (Act I).
- In a crate next to some nails in Anne Snider and Kim's bungalow in the Golden Bungalows area.
- Inside a cardboard box across from the workbench in the Lighthouse supply room (x2).
- Inside a car trunk, alongside some magazines, handcuffs, and a Drugs Unit, between the Lighthouse Gas Station and a nearby tunnel.
- Found randomly in lootable containers (closets, luggage, etc.).
- Found randomly on corpses and Walkers/Infected.
- Merchants will occasionally sell these as well.
