The Diamond Edge Mod is a weapon mod in Dead Island: Riptide. It is applicable for most of the blunt weapons. It increases damage and crit damage, as well as bleed enemies on a critical hit. The mod will add a bleed effect onto any weapon crafted with it. It usually appears as several sharp blades added vertically to the edge of the weapon.

Notes

• Despite it being called the diamond edge mod, the crafting recipe doesn't actually use any diamonds.
• However, diamond edged equipment is typically very sharp and strong, hence why diamond edge drills are used to drill into the earth. In this case, the diamond edge is making the weapon very sharp for cutting up the undead.
