Like other other dev mods, the No. 1 craft is more of a joke weapon mod than anything really serious. The mod is extortionate to craft, requiring $10,000 Cash, a Battery and 5 Diamonds, the rarest of all the mod items, as well as being exceedingly high to repair at a workbench. The blueprint is also somewhat difficult to miss, with the skull being easily missed in the Supermarket under the stairs where it is located. The alter is in the Sewers, an area easy to be lost in. However, if you manage to acquire it, the weapon crafted is one of the better ones, with better application and use than most of the others. The weapon is still very poor compared to regular found weapons, and is extortionate to maintain, however when it criticals it can kill a Thug or other high health Zombie with no problem, though it can take several hits before the critical effect is triggered.
The Orange Skull unlocks the Developer's Craft Mod #1. It is found under a flight of stairs in the supermarket where you have to kill Punks. After that, a pile of skulls is in the sewer right after that quest. When you come to a part where the water is green and radioactive, there is a ladder on the right. Upstairs in the room is its drop point.
