The Deserted Hut is a location featured in Escape Dead Island. The hut is located on the beach where Cliff Calo and his friends first land on Narapela. At first, the hut is barricaded off with some wooden planks, but after Cliff acquires a weapon in the form of a makeshift club, he can break down the planks and get into the hut. The hut acts as a passage from the beach to the Narapela Jungle.
Layout[]
The hut is a small, single room hut which has been long since abandoned. The door has been removed and is nowhere to be found while the decking is in a state of disrepair. There's a small walkway around the front and sides of the hut while access to the beach is via wooden stairs. Underneath the hut is a large open space and it's unknown what it's for. Various towels are scattered around as well as some parasols. Inside the hut there's some shelves and a few short wooden benches, but it's otherwise barren. A back door leads to a path through the jungle.
Notes[]
- You can find a medkit inside the hut.
- You can collect this medkit early during New Game +. If you collect the katana from the boat during Mission 1 - Smooth Sailing of New Game +, you can break down the boards and collect the medkit on the shelf facing the doorway. You can't progress to the jungle, however, as it's blocked by a small table.
- The lost story keychain with coins can be found underneath the hut.
- Taking a picture of the hut with the Camera gives Snapshot 27.
