Cyanoacrylate Glue on the left next to some Semiconductors
Cyanoacrylate Glue is a Rare Modification Item featured in Dead Island: Riptide. Despite being classified as a rare modification item, it is not used in any weapon mods. Instead it is only used in one team quest, being Best Merchandise for Wayne III. It appears as an ovular, large tube of glue with a black capped top. It appears to be a squeezy tube due to the nozzle and the main body is a light blue colour. Various warnings are written on it as well as a large logo on the sides.

As with all Rare Modification Items, Cyanoacrylate Glue only appears inside Dead Zones, and specifically only appears in the following Dead Zones:
- Motel "Safe Haven"
- Infested Basements
- Dr. JJ Evans' Clinic
- Sandy Cave (Definitive Edition only)
- Mataka Village Bungalow (Definitive Edition only)

- In the normal edition, Cyanoacrylate glue is one of the rare modification items that only appear in Henderson Dead Zones, along with Water Purification Tablet, Lightweight Frame, Highly Conductive Wire, Insulating Tape and Mylar Blanket. Due to this, Best Merchandise for Wayne III cannot be completed by a character on the first play-through of the game, as the quest becomes unavailable prior to reaching Henderson.
- In the Definitive Edition it can also be found in two locations outside of Henderson: Sandy Cave and Mataka Village Bungalow. This allows Best Merchandise for Wayne III to be completed on the first play-through.
- It resembles Glue in its overall shape, as if it's a scaled up, heavy duty version of the regular modification item.
