Combat on the roof is one of the secret achievements and trophies available in Dead Island: Riptide. You will automatically unlock this by completing the main quest Evacuation, where you need to survive the siege event and protect the roof of the Old Town Cinema. You do not need to do anything special to achieve this, just play through the game and upon completion of the quest, this will be unlocked automatically.
