Demolition weapons is a weapon class in Dead Island 2

Demolition weapons deal 100% critical hits to enemies under the Vulnerable condition (Stabiilty -- blue bar -- at zero). This makes these weapons best at quickly finishing off downed enemies. Reloading Demolition weapons will grant a temporary Toughness boost.

They are mainly shotgun firearms which are specialized in mid to close-quarters ranged combat. They boast in high firepower at short-range but they have low ammo capacity and slow reload speed.
