Carla is one of the six slayers featured in Dead Island 2. Prior to the outbreak, she was a motorcycle stunt woman before becoming trapped in Los Angeles, California during the outbreak.

Appearance[]
Carla is a young Spanish-American woman with long brown hair tied into twin braids. She wears a white tank top with a stylized 'D' just above the right breast, a fishnet black undersuit, black, blue, and white pants with ALTA written on the right leg in yellow, and white motorcycle boots with a red and white cat head on the top, as well as a pair of gold hoop earrings, a gold ring on her left hand, and five multi-colored wristbands on her right wrist.

Skills[]
Carla has two innate skills:
- Dig Deep - Carla gets a moderate TOUGHNESS boost while her health is critical.
- Mosh Pit - Carla gets a minor DAMAGE boost when close to multiple zombies.
Other unique skills to Carla are:
- Steadfast - BLOCK multiple attacks in succession to gain a stacking BOOST to TOUGHNESS and FORCE.
- Warhead - DROP KICK causes an explosion that drains the STAMINA of nearby zombies.
- Far From Done - Blocking or taking damage gives a DAMAGE BOOST. This can stack multiple times.

- Carla is vegetarian.
- On the slayer tarot cards included with the Hell-A edition of Dead Island 2, Carla is depicted as The Lovers.
- The tarot card also features the wedding couple from the Halperin Hotel, Becki The Bride and Aidyn The Groom.
- Carla was the fifth slayer to receive a 'meet the slayer' video, after Jacob, Amy, Ryan and Dani.
- During the pier collapse, Carla isn't frightened and finds the whole situation fun.
- She is the third character named Carla in the Dead Island series.
- Carla never says her quote from the character selection menu in the actual game.
- She is seen beating up the infected fangirl and could have possibly killed her.
- Carla is a mechanic.
- She likes riding motorcycles and doing crazy stunts with them.
- Carla is a fan of Bruce Lee.
- Just like Jacob, she is also a stunt woman.
- She likes Churros.
- Carla mentions that she spent a lot of time at the arcade when she was younger.
- She apparently subscribed to Amanda Styles, but didn't remember it until she met her in person.
- Carla has watched Curtis Sinclair's movies with her father.
- Out of all the slayers, Carla along with Jacob don't really have anyone to get back to when they escape Los Angeles.
- After her cousin died, she took all the money they had made street racing and began her own life.
- In The Art of Dead Island 2, it's revealed that Carla was intended to be a policewoman, but this was later changed to as the team wanted her to be an adrenaline junkie instead.
- Some websites listed her surname as Vidal. However, the developers of Dead Island 2 recently said they will not be revealing the slayers surnames. So it's likely those are fan made.
- Despite being fearless, Carla will become afraid when she realizes she can't control her rage mode near the ending of the game.
