The Bushmaster is a variant of the Kukri and a Legendary Weapon in Dead Island, rarely available from Metal chests or killed Zombies.
Overview[]
Being a legendary machete, the weapon has high damage but medium/low force, giving it good damage, though without much knockback or bone crushing potential. However, it has decent enough durability for a sharp weapon and a medium swing speed, and below average stamina usage. These stats combined makes it one of the best machetes out there, along with the Tijuana Machete, and a great all-round weapon. With high damage, and being a sharp weapon, it is excellent against Infected, notably beheading them, though it is also great for Walkers, be them in groups or single. It can also deal with some special infected quite easily, like the Thug, and the high damage offered means it can also be good against others, like the Butcher.

Trivia[]
- The name could be in reference to the Bushmaster firearms company or the bushmaster line of knives and machetes. That, or it could simply be in reference to how machetes are used to deal with tall grass and bushes.
