Bunker #04 is a coastal World War II bunker located at the northern most beach of the Resort. The Hero can visit the bunker at any time, but will only be able access the fore room and turret until accessing the back room from Bunker 02. Like most of the Resort bunkers, this is twinned with one of the others across the map, being Bunker 02.

The bunker appears the same as most of the bunkers around the island, namely the Resort area. It's made from reinforced concrete, which is concrete with metal rebar inside it. There's a covered tunnel entrance leading to the main metal door in. There's a reinforcing slope either side for extra support while the rest of the bunker can be seen from the outside. You can see the main room of the bunker, as well as the turret on top. Various trees and plant life have taken over the bunker, growing on and around it, while some of the concrete has fallen away from over 70 years of neglect, showing the metal rebar used in its construction. The bunker number can still be seen in faded white paint near the entrance. There's also a ladder to get onto the roof of the bunker which can be useful for nice views of the island.
Inside the bunker, the layout is standard. There's the main central room inside, with a doorway leading to the rear room. Like most bunkers, this one has been abandoned for decades, but at least one person has tried to use it to survive the outbreak. A makeshift bed has been placed in the back room, as well as some supplies, however the occupants have all died and one has come back as a Suicider. There's also a workbench back here. You can access the parapet of the turret via the metal ladder in the main room, but there's nothing up here other than some views of the island out of the firing slits.
Notes[]
- The back room of this bunker will be inaccessible until you complete the main quest Black Hawk Down, whereupon Nikolai will open up Bunker 02. From here, you can use the manhole cover in the back room of Bunker 02 to access the back room of this bunker.
- In the back room of this bunker you can find the brown skull. Just be careful of the Suicider that normally spawns here as well.
- A metal chest is also located in the back room.
